- I have been in contact with Richard the owner of Flute. He has very limited internet access and would like me to post the following:
There has been several sightings of Flute since she went missing in September, some very recently. Saturday 2nd November approx 9pm outside the Navigation Inn pub, Maesbury Marsh near Oswestry on tow path. Thursday 7th between Weston Rhyn and Oswestry.
Flute seems to be following tow paths to get around. If anyone lives in the areas of Ellesmere, Welshampton, Wem and Oswestry and you may be able to help Richard with information regarding Flute he would be very grateful, please contact him on 07808 394646.

- Hi, there is a little dog that looks awfully like Flute on the stray list at Deerness Kennels www.strayaction.com D35 ref333/13 Darlington tel 0191 378 0439 I know its probably 200 plus miles away but I suppose its possible especially that you say she may have been taken by person on canal boat. The photo of the dog at the kennels definitely has a white flash on chest, unfortunately it doesn't say if its male or female, can't tell from picture. I know Flute is chipped but you never know! Hope its her x
