So sorry to see this. My thoughts, and prayers are with his owners. Night, night handsome Felix, sleep tight, and have fun at the bridge with the "Rainbow babies" gone before him. Find comfort that one day you will see Felix again, never to be parted: until then he is only a whisper away, and will live on in your memories, and in spirit. Comforting (((HUGS))) are being sent to his family from me. RIP+ God blessx A~~~Candle~~~burns for Felix. Run freex

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I put some more posters in Cuddington on Friday and walked my dog in an area I know between Kingsley and Weaverham which is quiet and densely planted, calling his name. Posters seen in Kennel Lane (will catch all local dog walkers) Training club we use works in Marbury Park and Frodsham, have contacted them. Will keep looking whilst out in the area with my dog and speaking to others. Will check Weaverham is postered too.

Thanks Babs68. I have been out today, but did get an update from Felix's owner about the found dog in Warrington. As you say - sadly not Felix, but thanks so much for looking out for him.

Paula Marie - thanks for the posters at Frodsham Marshes - it all helps. As well as the local postering in Kingsley we are trying to reach people travelling through the area between Frodsham and Delamere and Weaverham, so any posters seen around the area will help. x
Paula Marie
Put a few posters up today near the entrances to Frodsham Marsh area. Know it is a distance from where Felix went missing, but a few Twitchers and Frodsham Wildfowlers in the area.
Babs68
Further to my earlier post today, this dog was not Felix, the owners have checked. Hoping that Felix is found soon x

Choc lab seen on/around "Oakland St, near the Famous King & Queen pub, Padgate Lane"..... a lady has just posted to Facebook - Warrington Animal Welfare's page. (Not sure if Padgate Lane is in Warrington?) I have just phoned the number above to advise. I hope it's Felix. x

Thanks all - we have received more details of the sighting ClaireBearG reported below of the two dogs together:

We have worked out that we saw them on Thursday 19th Sept @ circa 1.30pm. We were driving from Weaverham to Frodsham and we had driven through Kingsley past St Johns church. Approx. halfway up that hill on the right there is a kind of ramblers footpath. The dogs had come out of that footpath entrance and were trying to cross the road as we approached, they then waited for us to pass then they crossed over.

This sighting was on Hollow Lane. All crossed the posters bring in more sightings of the dogs either together, or His brother returning home the following morning. Please keep sharing their details - some else must have seen them during this time. x

Thanks for posting ClaireBearG and Babs68 - I will make sure Felix's owner is aware of your posts.

I have spoken to Felix's owner earlier this evening. His family are doing all the right things. Local and adjacent dog warden authorities, the microchip company and all local vets have been informed.

Felix definitely went missing on the evening of Wednesday 18th whilst being walked with his brother, who returned home alone approximately 36 hours later on Friday morning. The area is very rural and there have been no sightings of Felix since he went missing, although most of the local community are now aware that he is lost. His family have already searched the local woods thoroughly with no sign of Felix, and his family feel he may have been picked up. Posters will be going up around the area tomorrow, to try and spread the word further afield.

Please keep sharing Felix's details. All crossed there is good news of him very soon. x

Just had this comment posted, bit far out but he could have possibly been picked up? x

We had a male chocolate lab in our garden yesterday. No collar on. He had a wander round the garden played with milly and mia then wandered off down the drive. Did not think anything about it as I know mia goes for a wander every now and then. Although we are in norden rochdale. Wouldn't of thought it was felix but you never know. Will look out for him. Good luck

Thanks Babs68 - was just going to post what you added on my page x

I have also had the following posted on Felix's post on my wall:

I saw a dog along along the road that the Mollington Banastre Hotel (Chester) is on. This was the early hours of Sat 21st about 4.30 am . Could have been a labrador about the right size. It wss by the Wheatsheaf pub, I did stop and go back along the road, I got out and called but I could not see it. Hope you get him home soon xxx
Babs68
Was it definitely 18th that the dog went missing? I only ask because a friend of mine shared a FB status stating that a chocolate labrador was seen at the side of the road on 17th Sept, between Bala and Frongoch.x
skippy
Thanks Gino and ClaireBearG x

It's too late to try and speak to Felix's owner this evening, but I will speak to Marie tomorrow.

Email sent with advice and information. x
