- I travelled up from Bradford in the early hours, walked all around Pelaw woods as soon as it got light, reported sightings at the ploughed field w2w and Bent House Lane at 8am. Again reported between Gilesgate roundabout and the bottom of Leazes Road, and again in the gardens of gilesgate/Claypath. She is still in the area and we need people to carry on reporting sightings and get her home, £500 reward for her safe return.

- Possibly seen on Duffy in Sunderland Rd Gilesgate and on Gilesgate Bank on THursday. Scent picked up by a doggy friend this afternoon, but she wasn't there.
- 2013-09-27 22:17 HBeaumont
- Not sure if Hetton-le-Hole was a genuine sighting or just another GSD off the lead, as we've had possible sightings in Sunderland Road Gilesgate, and on Gilesgate Bank yesterday afternoon/early evening.
- 2013-09-27 13:33 HBeaumont
- We've had word of a GSD running loose in Hetton-le-Hole area. Dog warden has been informed, but details are a bit vague
- 2013-09-26 15:12 HBeaumont
- Lola is still missing. Possible sighting in Sherburn Village,by both member of the rescue team and a friend, but this was a dog being walked by a couple. As we have an address, the police informed but nothing can be done until Saturday.

- There were more sightings this afternoon in the fields behind Laurel Avenue School and close to St Giles Church. This ties in with a lunchtime sighting by one of the school children. Paths and woods all meet up along the back there. We'll concentrate our search there tomorrow.

- Thanks everyone !
Lola had only been with her new owners a short time and she does not know the area she is in and will be very nervous. If you see her please inform her owners of where and when you sighted her.
Dog wardens have been informed and her owners are aware of local Stray kennels etc.
Hoping Lola is caught very soon. Xx

- Sighting reported on facebook today, I will post their post.
My friend who lives in Gilesgate in Durham saw a shepherd running across the road from the B and Q store into the park around 9pm, he stopped to see where it went but he couldn't see it, he thinks it ran into the housing estate. - 2013-09-25 11:17 Nells
- Sorry that I am too far to help you search Helen but I really hope you find Lola soon.
