We need to get details to local anglers association, British Waterways, plus the maintenance people for that stretch of canal. Has owner or anyone done this yet as I don't want to double up?

Just to let you all know that Jez's owners have been in touch and there has been a sighting of Jez by the canal between Bosworth and Snarestone, the owner has put posters up in that area. Please keep a look out for this dog if you live in the area.

Nice to see the pic. That isn't the dog we tried to intercept in Blaby. In fact it is almost the opposite colouring. I'll keep a look out and put up some posters in the area anyway though.

I have just emailed Jez poster without photo to Hinckley and Bosworth Councils Dog Warden on customer.services@hinckley-bosworth.gov.uk Tel 01455 238141 ex 5643. I will re-email once photo arrives plus rescue centres.I hope Jez is found soonx

It'd be a damned long way to travel, but we saw a lurcher type dog jogging around Blaby yesterday. It was white with light brown markings on the head and rump. It was determined not to be caught. We lost track of it when it crossed the bypass into an estate and we couldn't get through the traffic in time. Police and RSPCA were informed. 8 miles away from Shackerstone.
