Bumping page as just got this email into Admin...

I was driving north bound towards Colchester, prob 5 miles before zoo turn off at 06.45pm Wednesday 8th October and saw chocolate lab running nose down along grass verge. It was in the unlit section of A12 and far too dangerous to attempt to stop, in heavy traffic young kids in car. Just thought I would google to see if any news on him and was surprised to see a post for a similar sighting of chocolate lab running in the other direction some days before. Could this be the same dog?

The dates don't match, the deceased dog was found on the 28th and these 2 were reported as being seen on the 29th

Helen - could this possibly be the Jack Russell cross, 57847, found on the A12, sadly now deceased? x

There was a report that there was a Jack Russell with the Lab on the A12 and the police were called to assist. The 2 dogs ran off over fields away from the road (it was dark so they lost sight of them) so really hoping they have found their way home.

I have just received a phone call to say there is a Chocolate Labrador running down the side of the A12 at Kelvedon heading away from Colchester.
The lady who called said she couldn't stop as she was heading the other way.
