Brilliant news... welcome home Poppy xxx

What were they thinking of taking a dog so far away from the area she was found especially when they had been in a local vets with her???

I've had a text from Poppy's owners with the wonderful that she has been found !
The ladies that found her lived some distance further south from where they found her and had taken her home with them. Her owners have to drive down to collect her so I will wait till she is actually back home before I move her to reunited xx

Hooefully there will be soon a story about Poppy in the Sunderland Echo and CCTV camera footage is being checked for the 2 ladies who took her in their car to the vets . Anyone finding a dog is required BY LAW to make a report to the dog warden.
Hoping media coverage will bring someone forward with news of where Poppy is

Hi have posted on 'theft awareness' FB page County Durham with photo, hope poppy is home soon with her rightfully owners :) x

a HUGE thank you for all of your help, i have now made a report to the police and i think they are treating it as theft as the women have not contacted the dog warden. (ref 500021013) ive also been in touch with the vets who have described the women as late 30's dark haired. she said they seemed to be the type to take care of pets and had said they had dogs of their own (as we all know you cant judge a book by it's cover). Monica turnbull from the Sunderland echo has also taken details of Poppy and her story and hopefully it will go to print. surely someone has got to have seen these women or Poppy! once again thank you all so much and fingers crossed :) x

from owners .... Repoted her to the police and the garage next to the vets is gonna check their cctv from friday night when she was taken to the vets. .. More posters to go up too x

Poppy's owners have been told that a dog like her was handed in late this afternoon but they have to wait until the morning to be sure if it is Poppy. Everything crossed it is her !!!
