- He us registered with Animed and a poster has been there for several weeks, I am sure he us still in Wickham, he disappeared with minutes of leaving the garden, he was seen by local children in the next street, which is 30 metres from our house, they came straight round to tell us, we went straight round, but he had disappeared. There have been no sightings of him, we gave done everything we can to find him, I am on annual leave for some of next week, so rest assured we will be out xxx dogs don't just disappear, someone knows where he is and I will find him cxx thank you all for your support xxx

- Hi. I live in Titchfield. Just found this post. You must poster the vets called Animed on Botley rd. They put large posters on their front counters so every customer cannot miss it. You should visit the horse stables just off Cartwright Drive too, they have helped massively locally with any missing pets. Must say, no email sent to po15 at all, can an admin organise this???

- No news, we are waiting to speak to the Dog Warden, but there seems to be no urgency and feel that this is probably not Murdoch. Despite £100 reward, we have had no sightings at all.

- I drove up the Knowle end of Mayles Lane today, then up Forest Lane, checked the areas I know where a friend's dog laid up when he went missing. Sorry but no sign. You should contact the railways and the refuse collection people,(horrible thought I realise but better to do this and make them aware). Also there were two attempted dog snatches in Titchfield and Fareham this week, could Murdoch have been enticed out? If so, contact the police, there maybe CCTV - like SCATS or somewhere in the garage - usually only held for 7 days tho

- Posters now in Garden Centre, Golf Course and Knowle xxx thank you for your support xxx I don't know if there is anything we can do now, just have to hope that who ever has him has a conscience and brings him home

- Have been up to a garden centre near to Mayles Lane, asked in there if they'd heard of Murdoch going missing, which they hadn't, but I didn't have my car, which has a poster in to hand out, but the man said he'd look out, as they overlook the golf course the opp side of the lane where he went missing from. Would be good to poster that road and garden centre, and the golf club. The weather is good and people may be going to both places over the weekend, poster SCATS too if not already done

- No sightings of Murdoch yet/. We have been dropping leaflets through peoples doors and putting up posters. He is on facebook and also this sight. We intend puutting our more leaflets through doors this weekend and walking along the railway line Bridle path this weekend, someone knows where he is and we desperatley want him home.

- Spoke to the owner this morning, Murdoch got over the fence at the front of the garden and went up the road towards the garage. He hasn't been seen since.
I have suggested widening the area of notifcation of DW incase he was picked up and taken out of the area.
Also to try and contact the Hampshire CC Traveler Liasion officers to see if they can check the site mentioned by Inkies Mum. - 2013-10-02 07:16 Russell
- We are continuing to carry out foot searches in local area, also leaflet drops. Thank you so much for your help, advice and support.
This site and all who participate are to be applauded, thank you. - 2013-10-01 22:44 Inkie's Mum
- Suggest the Dog Warden is alerted and asked specifically to go down to the travellers caravan site in Whiteley Lane, more than one dog lost in this area has been "located" there, and if not, they are handed into Pets At Home in titchfield shortly after
- 2013-10-01 22:37 Kirsty
- Will look for updates, as have just moved very near this area, and can help with search if needed.
- 2013-10-01 22:19 Sammie

- Sorry to see that MURDOCH is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (57937)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
