- The van I saw swerved in front of me at Wigan road end of Soughers Lane. I have told all dog walkers I've seen since Monday and emailed and tweeted poster. I do have some connections in travelling community so I will do some digging there.

- I have given Ronnie's owner advise over the phone too. Advised need to contact the Police ASAP and get a Crime Ref Number, contact DW, Vets, put missing Ads on websites and check the dogs for sale.
The person/s with a Irish accent were seen going around the estate at the time he was taken asking for gardening work.
It would be a great help if anyone in the area could help with putting posters up. - 2013-10-02 08:50 Nicj
- Sorry to hear about Ronnie I saw a silver ford crew cut transit swerve at bottom of Soughers lane with 3 men in it. They actually tried to cut up in front of me. I think it was a 54 reg. I felt they were travellers! This was about 3pm on Monday. Didn't see dog in cab but felt the quick turn around was odd! I have 2 dogs myself and will keep watch for Ronnie. Good luck
