- El - thank you for being so kind and caring and for keeping this lovely Rottie girl safe. I'm also a fan and we currently share our lives with a 8 year old Rottie girl and Dexter, her NZ Huntaway companion. Anyone who owns or knows about Rotties will appreciate your comments about her making use of your nice, comfy sofa! I'm so pleased for her owners - they must have been so worried and so thank goodness a doggie Angel noticed her (probably difficult to miss!)and spotted her plight.

- I knew she must be very loved by how affectionate she was. When I spoke to the owner he told me she was 13! She was in excellent shape for that age. I just hope my rotti has the same fortune!

- Only seem to have a work email address for the person we are thinking of. Have sent an email, but he probably won't get it until tomorrow. We believe it is on the right side of the A470 for him though. We actually got our dearly departed Ozzie from him a few years ago.

- Ooh I hope so. She's such an affectionate girl,and is currently spark out on my sofa, so she's clearly used to home comforts :) Someone must be missing her!! I've contacted the dog warden and will be taking her to Bridgecroft Kennels in Gelligaer after 3pm.

- My husband knows someone not far from here who breeds rotties. He will contact them when he gets back from work to see if it's one of his, or if he knows someone who's lost one x
