HHHUUUUGGGGEEE thank you to everyone who helped to find Freddie. He's now home safe with Mabel, tired but none the worse otherwise! Special thank you to Andrea, Gina, Teri who searched the woods last night. Many thanks to Scoobster Doglost Coordinator NW and Dogs Northwest Repost who got the word out and sorted out his posters, and for keeping me sane with hints and tips on searching. Thank you to Kerry, who says she still trusts me with her dogs and didn't even shout at me for losing Freddie. Thank you to everyone who shared his picture, emailed and phoned around, boosted his post, handed out cards and everything else everybody did. To see the efforts everyone put in has been overwhelming, I appreciate it and I know Kerry appreciates it to. I could go on all day and it wouldn't get across how grateful I am, I hope it never happens again but it's very reassuring to know that if it does there is an army out there ready to pull out all the stops to get the dogs home where they belong!!

Update from owner

Freddie is home in his bed, None the worse for his experience. He was in the woods exactly where he was lost, He defo wasn't there yesterday so he's made his way back to that spot and waited. The man who found him said he was just walking up and down the path. He'd seen the Facebook posts and rang me from the woods! Little sod wasn't even pleased to see me, he ignored me and was playing with another dog!! Thank you so much for all your help, getting his posters out etc, I'll defo be volunteering for you whenever you need help in this area!!

There's a search party getting together around 12.30 tomorrow, some starting at the Hindley end and some at the Aspull end and going to comb the area. The more the merrier!!
