Sorry about short text but I'm about as good texting as I am on this machine, thanks for coming back to me. Have you logged Honey with Dog Warden, perhaps finder of Lab? has, I would check. Finder may be on holiday and that is why you aren't getting any response. The area found in is Emneth and it could be that Honey was picked up when she first went missing, kept, and if she started chewing (cos thats what pups do) kicked out. I think finder probably didn't want to give too much away incase the wrong people tried to claim her! Perhaps you could contact Helen area co=ordinator to see if she can help you. I have some ideas but hope finder gets back to you.XX

Could this be Honey? Found PE14 8BA, wearing leather collar, sex unsure but seem to think female, red/gold lab?, found 17/2, "animalsearchuk" site, ref AFP 176813. Perhaps she started chewing ! Have text owner to look on here. YvonneLast edited: 2014-02-22 08:01:00 by Me N My Girl - Administrative Volunteer

Honey is featured in the local newspaper today, hopefully this will bring some news x

In BSE Suffolk but have invited friends from doggy world and some friends from Cambs to Honey's page. Posters are so important. We had our first sighting of Mabel because a friend got some posters out early doors. Put them in post offices, shops community center, local postie, anywhere, everywhere and every one. As someone else has commented Honey needs to be made too hot to handle, it takes a lot of time and effort but so many dogs are found through persistence. We also trawled gamekeepers, farmers etc. I've also mentioned on her page, watch the free add sites. I've tagged Get Gumtree Animal Free into my FB post as lots of people check these sites daily.

Unfortunately this sighting in Chatteris was not Honey - sorry

Siting of a brown lab seen running along London Road in Chatteris PE12, just waiting for follow up to see if this could have been Honey.

How about a door to door flyer drop, if this has not already been done, asking people to check their gardens and sheds. Everyone is putting out food for birds now, and a pup can scavenge from garden to garden.

we will be in that area still searching for the 4 remaining stolen pugs from PE14 7LS (and now pups) , hope to meet up with owner ,hope we can all work together , Anna xx

Substanstial Reward now added to posters.
Sedge
Do keep ringing the pounds etc. and go and look for yourself. Put up posters offering a reward, petrol stations, shops, playgrounds, shopping centres, local shops, local newspaper, push them to put her in, ask local vets if they have had any similar dogs in for microchipping, I hope she will soon be back with you.

Just seen this on FB: **MISSING** St John's Fen End, Wisbech!
Honey is a 4 month old Labrador pup who went missing Wednesday evening from her home.
Please can you get this shared about as much as possible as quickly as we can as honey is a small puppy and needs to get home!
We are desperate to have her home with us again, we got her for our autistic son who is now devastated as his best friend is now missing, she is a very small puppy and there is a reward for information leading to her return. If you see her or have any information please call
Makes it even sadder. She needs to be made too hot to handle - Poster, poster, poster. Use facebook and any other media you can
Sedge
I do hope you have news of Honey, do put up lots of posters in your area, spread the word as far and wide as possible, try the newspapers, TV and Radio Stations, the Radio stations were very helpful to me.Keep hopeful. Lesley
Sedge
Everybody will keep looking for her, I had a dog stolen and got her back after 3 months - so do keep hopeful and together we will do our best find her! I have passed this on on facebook, so the net will be spread wide.

Sorry to see that HONEY is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (57996)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
