- https://www.facebook.com/PurtonVets/posts/599475073434242 Please share. We have a young jack Russell terrier with us at the moment who is really very poorly. She has Parvo. She was brought in by a member of the public as she was found tied to his gate in the freezing cold.We have been giving her intensive care nursing over the weekend and were hopeful about her prognosis but she has deteriorated today. We believe she must be owned as she is wearing a collar. Please contact us urgently if you are missing a young JRT or know someone who is.

- Believe now that Esme has been stolen and the thieves are keeping her indoors. Police and general public being vigilant and looking out for Esme. I've been out again today as missing her so much. Please keep looking out for her. Good reward for the safe return of our little dog.

Lovely to see people are trying so hard to find her and reunite her with our family. It's hard to stay positive, but I know Esme is missing us too and wants to be home with her brother Ned. Please keep looking out for her. - 2013-10-11 04:32 Lilybear

- Its probably better to email poster rather than ringing, people will then have a photo to jog their memory . Well done owners you are doing a fantastic job !

- Hi Reynard, my husband rang a wider circle of dog wardens today but some said we were out of their jurisdiction. As regards to the little dog yesterday the man got back to us via text and gave me the name and address of boy dogs owners. I am so emotional that I desperately wanted it to be Esme.
- 2013-10-07 21:06 Mrs G
- Spoken to the local game keeper today and we are very happy that he has supported our family in the search for Esme. He has looked in his copses and listened for her baying, keeping us informed. Today he told me that he had visited the badger sets while out and can't hear or see anything to suggest that Esme had gone to ground. Thank you for all your support and help in our search for our little dog.

- All Found dogs must be reported to the Dog Warden have you checked with them I think its Sebastian WCC is Malmesbury area?
- 2013-10-06 22:43 Mrs G
- Someone put a post on Spotted in Malmesbury that he found a 'her' Jack Russell but when my husband went around it wasn't there and the man at the address stated that it was a boy dog. I just wanted to look at this dog to put my mind at rest. What should I do?
- 2013-10-06 18:06 Mrs G
- Please keep your eyes peeled for Esme we are all so worried about her and want her back home and happy with our family. Thank you to all for your kind words and offers of help. Please keep her profile up as we are desperate to find her but as we put posters up, apparently some are being taken down - which is very frustrating! I will take them down once she is found!

- Owners have done loads in the search for Esme , It sound like she just vanished not far from their house, The local landowners are aware and I suggested the contact the Beaufort hunt , which I believe they have done. There is a meet tomorrow at the end of their drive, so Ive told them to cover their gate with Esmes posters , so everyone will be made aware she is missing. All farmers are aware now hopefully locally , and owners have been brilliant postering the area . They are working so hard to find her. I so hope she is found soon

- Thank you for all your help so far. I am feeling down today and missing Esme terribly. We have trawled the fields. Put posters in the vets. Rang farms and houses surrounding the Suffolk estate and knocked on doors. We have posted Esme's details through letter boxes and I have her on Facebook thanks to the kind help of colleagues and mummy's at school. She is on Twitter too. I have rang the police, vets, Bath dogs home and dog warden. I am off out again in a moment to leave family scent everywhere as suggested by the DogsLost poster. Please if you see her or think you know who might have her. Then call the police, dogslost or contact me directly using details on Esme's profile. Thank you again. Mrs G

- Sorry to see that ESME is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (58000)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
