- Fred's sister is still at home. I have notified both local vets as I was in there anyway. It's not really possible to walk through the maize it's over our heads.
ETA There is a lot of various wildlife here.Last edited: 2013-10-09 17:41:11 by Jeanne - 2013-10-09 17:29 Bobble - Area Co-ordinator - Somerset & East Sussex
- I am so sorry to see that lovely fred is missing. Is there any liklihood that he could have gone to ground? Do you have another dog or a dog he is friends with who could help search. I notice Jeanne's comments re the corn field and the railway line. The corn certianly needs investigating, but do it from the railway line back towards home. The most important thing to do is get plenty of posters printed off and put up. Try and put them into plastic to keep them dry and speak to delivery drivers, bus drivers - anyone you can think of.
Have you had any sightings or news at all yet?

- I have just found out that this dog belongs to a neighbour down the lane from me. He went missing in fields behind us which are full of uncut maize so impossible to see him and he could be disorientated by the crop. Worryingly it is near a railway line too (though not a main line).

- I have shared with a friend who works at Lackham College close by. N4ncy, is there any update at all? Have you been able to put up lots of posters? Wishing you much luck. Have left you a message if I can help.
