- Jayne, thanks for your phone message, I have also spoken to Murdochs owner and told him to phone the council again if he has not had a call back from the DW and ask "if the DW is in the building" and to check the DW is not on holiday! I have experienced that myself locally when a DW has been on holiday messages have not been passed through efficiently.
I have explained that many DW are out and about and very busy and often only check back into council offices at the end of the day so to follow up now and again in the morning.
If the finder of the dog is reading this maybe they can take some more photos and get an approximate age? I understand from FB posts that the dog is still with the finder? - 2013-10-09 16:08 Russell
- Thank you for your assistance in this, still haven't heard anything back yet. Just awaiting a contact number or something so I can speak to the Dog Warden.

- Murdochs owner has been in touch as he thinks this could be his dog. 57937 have emailed the dogwarden as she is a member of this site with the link and owners number.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
