- I am having trouble checking the photos of the dogs that Scoobster and Sarah have listed on FB, is it the Westie in Darlington? I am in communication with the Darlington Westie keepers and also the one found in Ipswich I have messaged the Doglost rep in the area. If it isn't these two can you put the link on again please.
I haven't telephoned about the Puppy Farm Westies yet as I wasn't sure who to ring, does anyone know where they are being looked after or who I contact about those ones. - 2014-02-13 13:35 Scoobster
- This is the same dog that SSarah has put, But now with the dog warden xx

- I have spoken to SDK again, as I hadn't heard back from them about the Westie found in Greenwich last week. They have re-scanned the Westie and it doesn't have a microchip so she said it isn't Sybil. It is in a council run kennel that is closed to the public so I can't go and check it isn't Sybil, They 'can't' tell me the name of the kennels or a contact number of the kennels so I can't speak to anyone at the kennel and ask them to call the dog by the name of Sybil to see if it response, they won't take another photo of it to see if I can recognise it from a different photo angle. So I have yet again drawn a blank on a found Westie that I can't have access to, this is the third Westie that has been 'Found' that I have been unable to definitely rule out as being Sybil by not meeting with it. :(
Thank you for all your help and support, the Dog Lost Volunteers have been fantastic, I wouldn't have coped this long without your support. Xx

- Possible sighting of Sybil reported to her owners this evening. Update from Sybil's facebook page this evening:
This evening I was told of a possible sighting of Sybil this morning, or a dog fitting her description, was seen at the Barbridge junction on A51, by the staggered junction to The Barbridge Inn pub, the dog was on the opposite side of the road. If anyone is in the area please keep a look out. This may be a local dog, but it was seen by the main road on its own. I have been to the two local pubs, The Barbridge Inn and The Jolly Tar, tonight with posters and asking them to keep an eye out for her. Fingers crossed. Xx
Please - if you are out and about this area - keep your eyes open for Sybil.
All crossed for good news of Sybil soon. - Bumped for sighting. x - 2013-11-07 21:40 skippy

- Thanks Millypod - Sybil's owner has been in contact with the Animal Wardens about this found dog over the weekend.
The properties and fields around Sybils home have been extensively searched over the weekend with no sign at all of Sybil. All neighbours are aware she is missing and posters are up around the surrounding area, but other than a possible sighting very close to home shortly after she went missing, there have been no other reported sightings.
Please keep circulating her details - Sybils owners are doing a fantastic job in their search for her. x - 2013-10-12 15:59 Millypod (Chris) - Administrative Volunteer

- Thanks ClaireBearG, Millypod and Rocinante.
I spoke to Sybils owner earlier this evening, but am only just able to update. Sybil is about 2 years old and went missing from the yard at home on Monday. Sybil does not normally wander and it is very out of character for her to disappear like this.
Sybils owners are doing a great job of spreading the word locally and have begun searching the area, but there is a lot of open space for a little dog to be hiding in. The dog warden vets and microchip company have all been contacted and Sybils owners will try to get an article in the local papers to help spread the word. All crossed there is good news of Sybil soon. x
Photo cropped and lightened. You may need to refresh the page to see the new image. x

- Sorry to see that SYBIL is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (58215)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
