- Just read on the news that a puppy farm has been uncovered in Abbry Wood. The RSPCA are investigating and asking anyone locally who lost pets to contact them. I know its a long shot but since Abbey Wood is fairly close thought it worth mentioning.

- So sad this little one isn't yet home where she belongs. Have there been any more sightings at all? Given the fact terriers can keep moving all day, it might be worth checking with vets and dog pounds further outside your search area.

- Sighting of a Yorkshire terrier st Mary cray area. Star lane and surrounding roads. Looked last night back up there this morning with posters and leaflets. A Facebook site called Orpington gossip has been generating local sightings and interest. May be too far away although if she has followed the river from foots cray meadows it is possible she has got to st Mary cray

- Thank you Julie and piwoodhouse for your kind thoughts. Yes we always take Bobbie with us he has been so good always keeping up with us. We were at upper college farm this afternoon and bob was leading the way maybe he scents something don't know...
- 2013-10-22 13:41 piwoodhouse
- Just a thought - are you taking Bobby out with you when you search? Not only should she respond to his scent, but he may well be able to help detect her whereabouts too.

- Can everyone look under hedges or wooded areas in their gardens or surrounding areas. Chloe may have made a safe den for herself and is too frightened to come out during the day.

- Got a call to say Chloe was seen on the night around 1.30 am when she went Missing being chased by a fox at the junction of Bexley Lane and Faraday avenue. Man managed to get the fox away , Chloe was a good 3 feet ahead of the fox at all times. Man tried to catch her but was not able to. she was last seen running down the alley way next to Sidcup Cemetery. Cathy and Paul her owners have been there today and have found nothing. More posters are up in the area.

- Was at the meadows yesterday and very encouraged to see lots of posters already there, all placed prominently, in plastic wallets and attracting attention. I'm there every day and will keep calling her name and looking out. Diane at Pond Farm kennels is a lovely woman, so do check in with her too. Might be worth calling Cleeve Park school as well to see if they could make an announcement in assembly; it backs onto the meadows and they use the place for cross country. Kids are sometimes a lot more observant than grown ups in situations like this.

- Cathy - you haven't put her microchip number on here - if you do, it will be picked up with Halo scanners, so if you can find it do add it. Have you tried Pond Farm kennels at Sidcup? They do check chips, though.

- Sorry to see that CHLOE is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (58282)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
