- Other Info I have wrapped him up in towels and after knocking on endless doors I have placed him by the side of our flats with a note saying not to put him in the bin We contacted a vet who said to call council who we are hoping would microchip him but dont hold out much hope if you have lost your furbaby contact me ASAP as I doubt they will be here before morning

- To update everyone, I did find the owner, the next day I took him to the vet and thank Goodness he was microchipped.
She was very sad, but happy to know what happened to her baby :( Thanks for the comments everyone x - 2013-10-22 12:15 Battersea

- Have you put a notice up near to where he has been found about him? Owners could be out looking and may miss him where you have placed him. Just a thought. A very humane act of kindness you have demonstrated. Thank you. x

- The vet should have been able to check for microchip and any possible owner could have been contacted sooner!

The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
