- Helping Hands Dog Rescue have just saved a Yellow Lab from a dog pound. The kennels that the rescue used are near Sheffield (Aston). There's a picture here: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151983760534787. She's now up for adoption via the rescue, so if it is Barley please contact them quickly x

- My hubby spent 2 hours this morning looking without success for Barley. He covered the whole of Poolsbrook Country Park and the fields up towards Duckmanton. The rain here has been very heavy, torrential at times, I do hope this girl has found shelter somewhere.
Will be going out again tomorrow with our Sprollie, Alfie - do we know if Barley would be attracted to another dog? - 2013-10-21 01:12 sewey89
- Thank you very much for bringing Wispa and tracking Barley, we can now focus on searching these specific areas, thank you

- Wispa and I have been tracking Barley this morning, and the trail led down the lane from the farm to cross the main road into Duckmanton, then down a long lane to come out near Inkersall Farm. Wispa seemed to pick up a lot of air scent at the crossroads next to Inkersall Farm, and it seemed to be coming from the fields towards Staveley, but she also got some from the direction of Poolsbrook country park. Have advised owners to poster and publicise round Inkersall, Staveley and Poolsbrook.

- 2013-10-18 22:59 xWendyx
- Have you rung the dog warden and all the vets? Also try Broomhill kennels at Whittington as that's where found dogs seem to be taken.Have you postered the area?

- She went missing whilst on the farm, we're convinced she's not still on the farm though as we've covered the whole land every night since she went missing, its the surrounding areas which we're hoping she will turn up. Thank you
- 2013-10-18 20:33 xWendyx
- Did she go missing from the farm or out walking? Any idea which way she might have gone. I can go looking tomorrow but don't know the area very well so wouldn't know where to look. Maybe one of the tracker dogs could help
- 2013-10-18 19:57 sewey89
