Aw brilliant news! My mum's foster dog is deaf and elderly and now only has a walk on the long line, just in case he should wander while she's dealing with one of the other dogs. Well done to Jeff and Louise xx

I would like to announce that Snuff is safe and sound and reunited with her family!
Snuff is 17 and deaf and almost blind and yesterday we were enjoying a nice walk - when I turned around she was gone. In a total state of panic I searched everywhere but to no avail. I returned later that night, this morning and this evening...
Thanks to the wonderful Jeff and Louise who found Snuff on their doorstep, they put posters up all over the local area and thankfully one was put close to where I was looking!
Thank you so much Jeff and Louise! Stars!
Snuff had her tea and is now asleep next to her best friend, Sniff, our other furry loved one.
Many, many thanks!

Hope her owners can be found but there is always the possibility she may have been stolen then dumped or dumped by her owner....very sad but it happens. Poor old girl will be so confused :(
Great that wensmum can foster her if need x
wensmum
Does Snuff need fostering while her owner is found? She wouldn't like being in the pound. Can foster if it helps

Hope her owners can be found soon. Is there no-one who lives near the old address who can call & see if they have any forwarding address or owners name? Worth a shot!
Nikki (Tyler's mum)
Just to add to my last comment due to data protection they won't give the address out but if they are decent people would hopefully agree to write a letter to them advising a dog which they think is theirs has been found and details of who to contact.
Nikki (Tyler's mum)
It's also possible that the dogs owner can be traced by contacting new house owners and enquiring which solicitors they used and asking them to check their file and confirm which solicitors the dogs owner used, then contacting those solicitors who have to keep the file for 15 years and will have details of where dogs owner moved to...lot of work but worth it if it gets this baby home x

http://www.landregistry.gov.uk/public/faqs/how-do-i-find-out-who-owned-a-piece-of-land-or-property-in-the-past This may be of use, given the address of the owner is known it may be possible to find out their name which may make it possible to find their current address? Bit of a detective hunt! Hope she finds her humans soon x

http://www.192.com/places/sw/sw15-3/sw15-3rt/ It appears 3 Ebor Cottages was last sold in 2003-might it be worth writing to them/contacting them in some other way to see if they (or their estate agents) have a forwarding address/any contact details for previous occupants who may be this dog's owners? Or might the chip company have any details as to who purchased/implanted the chip batch number-vets in the area probably won't still have owner details from 1998 but worth a try.
