Brilliant that Purdy is home, and thanks to the lady who picked her up and cared for herLast edited: 2013-10-22 19:53:07 by Esther

Fab news for Purdy & we have news too, updating the Brant Broughton one now!

Just had a reply from Purdy's owner and the dog from Broughton is not her. Good news though as Purdy is now home. She was picked up by a lady and taken to Skegness where she was kept safe until her owner could be found. Lincs FM put out a message and the connection was made.

It is very possible that it could be the same dog but unless the owner replies to my email I have no way of contacting her. Have sent another email with the picture of the found dog attached.Last edited: 2013-10-22 13:08:25 by AlisonH

Yes just wondered as her brown is very dark (it was my post not met her yet!) .....also have had reports of similar dog reported unidentified during a shoot aobut 4 miles away within last week, what are the chances of having 3 very similar dogs lost within a 10 mile radius? Unless they were stolen & somehow escaped? Very odd. Would be happy to take Purdey owner to meet our girlie if only to eliminate the very faint possibility though.
AlisonH
Yes GillyT I totally agree with you but so far have not had a reply to the email I sent. Just looked at the bitch found in Brant Broughton again and she is brown and white so can't be Purdy.Last edited: 2013-10-21 22:33:13 by AlisonH

If Purdey was lost in Cranwell it not a million miles from our found girlie in Brant Broughton?

Will email all local information and request a photo and contact number.
