- Brilliant news Blu has been found in the area she went missing from. Seems that she was made TOO HOT TO HANDLE by all the posters and publicity. She has a cut pad but is otherwise ok.
Owner would like to thank everyone for all the help and advise they were given and has offered to become a Doglost helper. Hopefully she will come on to the site later and give us a full account of how Blu was found. - 2013-10-24 11:04 CJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator
- email sent to owners to get more details and offer advice.

- Our dog was stolen last year from denham by the Irish travellers, we put posters from reading to London offering a £2000 reward, they can't breed your dog so it's just about money, we also drove around the sites with posters and thankfully got her back 6 days later for the reward money, I really hope you get your baby back as we did, stay positive and never give up, go to local paper and radio they ran our story, pet detective told us to make her too hot to handle and it worked, these people make me sick out pets are like family to us, will keep an eye for your baby when I'm out, good luck xxx

- Someone's dog was stolen outside a bank last week , they used a pet detective and was found 3 days later .. Just an idea .. My eyes will be peeled when I'm out with my dogs in Ickenham until your precious one is back home with you x
- 2013-10-23 16:11 blu23
- Thank you so much, you have all been brilliant! She runs fast my girl and hopefully she will run from that awful women. Richard and his dad have flooded the area with posters and i'm sorry if they caused a stir but I think this is good. Everyone is talking so we will get our baby found. Thank you Thank you and hope we can force her out.

- Shared on FB for all my doggie friends in NW London, not too far away from you. Really pray you get Blu home soon. Have you offered a reward, just thinking it may help her to be "found". xx

- I guess this report was before the lady claimed her from the vets...

- email to HQ...
I saw a poster in a local shop concerning this dog.
I saw the dog running past Ickenham Station at about 12 noon on Tuesday 22nd October. She was running very fast in the middle of the road and was heading toward the Glebe Estate. I’m sorry I do not have any more information. I really hope you find her - 2013-10-23 10:49 Caz
- Anyone postering, can I suggest the 2 Scout HQ in Community Close, these buildings both during the day & evenings are used by play groups, art groups etc, as well as the scout groups so lots of people (eyes) coming & going. Sorry I am too far away (Northants)to do it myself.

- So sorry to hear about Blu, what an awful thing to happen. I'm in GX too (think I could have met you walking your dogs at the Camp?) - please let me know if there is anything I can do to help (bions@tiscali.co.uk). Just hope this woman can be identified and your baby is safely home very soon. xx

- Karen thank you so much - I will look you up. We live in Gerrards Cross so Blu is away from home in a big way. She was being walked at the farm on Long lane so between long lane and Swakeleys rd this lady spotted her because she was seen running after my Blu which is why they assumed she was hers! So bizarre! So sorry about your dog - it's heartbreaking. My old boy died last June so I brought Blu because she was identical and related to him. My other boston is so sad. I can't sleep at all!

- Hey, our dog is Roxy 48676, German shepherd, but she's been missing since Feb.
Thank you, once you have found Blu, would appreciate your help, thanks. NOW just concentrate on your baby. I've shared your DogLost page everywhere on Facebook - many local friends, rescues, lost dog sites etc. I'm Karen Harding if you are on FB, find me and you can see comments on my Blu posts as soon as they come in. Please let me know if I can help at all with anything and please give us details of photo of lady on CCTV when you can. Have lots of family and friends in Ickenham, if she's local, our doggy friends will recognise her. Fingers crossed and please shout if you need more hands or eyes or help xx - 2013-10-22 22:54 blu23
- Thank you Karen, let me know your dog thats missing and i will share this too. Let me know the details and we can search for both at the same time. We are going out tomorrow with posters and description of the lady in question. I'm sick with worry as i'm sure you are too.

- Owners now have CCTV footage of the lady who claimed Blu from the vets. They are going to try and get a still photo from the footage to put on here.

- Blu escaped under a fence at lunch time today. She was caught by a shop assistant who then handed her in to Medivet on Swakeleys Rd. Unfortunately they then handed her over to someone who claimed to be her owner without checking or taking any details.
