This is an example of how details ie tail size can be confused so its always worth double checking. Well done everyone. So glad Benji has been found x

Not long finished speaking to helper who emailed Admin and passed on the good news. Forgot to mention earlier helper did also email the AW's but did not get a reply. Helper is so pleased it is Benji, with owners permission this morning have passed their contact number onto them.

Great when they system works and through everyone working together we get a result. x

We did get an email sent to DogLost Admin by a helper who was out walking and met up with owner whilst out looking Benji. Helper checked DL and could not see him registered (I had advised owner to register when alerted he was missing). As it was found out that Benji had been missing for a week helper check AW site and found a match but did not know how to get in touch with owner. That is when they emailed Admin.

THANK YOU to the helper for looking out for Benji.

Update received earlier from owner:

Hiya jan just an update, animal wArdens are going to see if the dog on the found is that of my benji, the problem is if it is him he's been moved on, iv emailed them pictures of him do hopefully it's a match, benji has a docked tail they say this one had a tail but benji has long hair which covers his stump, thank you for all urs and site members help hopefully it's benji, just can't bear the waiting xxxxx

Have been in touch with owner a few times and we spoke this morning. Details of the found were passed onto her. It was being checked out, I did explain the situation re it being now 7 days since he has been found.
