- Other Info I stopped but the dog would not come near me, ran out into the road to avoid me (even though I was 3-4m away). Trotting purposefully up the lane. Twigs attached to rear end. Managed to get a photo. reported to dog warden but has since been picked up and taken to Vetcare Hindley (see their fb page)

- I'm afraid I don't know. Finder contacted Vetcare but I think ended up saying they would take dog to Holly Surgery (the one on the high street) in Hindley to see if he was microchipped. Sorry, no more info than that.

- This dog has now been caught and taken to Vetcare Hindley on Ladies lane. Tel 01942 522999 He is male. Presumably no microchip. We have an appt tomorrow so will update if any new info...

The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
