Thank goodness! I don't like it when this sort of things happen, but the number one thing is she is safe and not lost..I can't wait until Monday when you post here that she is safely home again!

Dear all,

We have located muffin. The oxford city council had her all along since the very day we lost her, Wednesday. When we called, they kept claiming that there was no dog that matched her description even though they had her microchip number. The dog pound in Thames (which is where she is currently), even faxed the council. Now they are refusing to release muffin until Monday.

A big thank you to all who helped to spread the news and helped to find her. We are most grateful to everyone. The people of Oxford has impressed us so much, there cannot be a better community than this.

Now, we have a major bone to pick with the city council. Will update again once we have muffin safely returned to us. It's not just the adults that are worried, they have caused 2 young ones days of heartache.

Someone called this morning, he said a dog matching muffin's description and location was picked up shortly after she ran out, and he called Noah's Ark Services to pick her up, and she's likely to be at the dog warden centre. We called the dog warden line but it's out of office hours, we can't do anything until Monday. Does anyone know the location of the dog pound, that we can go visit to be sure?

We've been calling the dog warden everyday but they said there's no dog matching muffin's description, which is very odd.

I have spoken to Muffins owner and advised to get loads of posters out there, she went missing approx 5pm so someone must of seen her go out of her gate which had been left ajar.....Muffin has only been in the country 3 months and traveled over from Singapore,so have advised owner to make sure all microchip details are up to date Will also email some advice over .
