- As elk hounds are fairly unusual I sent an e mail to elk hound rescue, to tell them about this dog. There must be a relatively small number of elk hound owners and thought the rescue group might know of someone frantically looking for this lovely dog. If they don't at least they may be able to help him if no one comes forward.
