A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED TO FIND MY LITTLE MILLIE.
many many many thanks to janet, phil, wendy and hubby also dear chris and mark what truly amazing people we can never thank them enough.
Also many thanks to jenny and tiga who helped with tracking millie the day before , tiga was definatly on the right track and would have found her had he been able to go though a fenced field to which they were told by a gardener there was no way in, dear tiga knew there was if only he could talk too .what an amazing dog and owner. I am so pleased to say millie is all cuddled up with me and is settling in very well she is so happy to be back with my older poodle bonnie and my parents poodle scamp (her boyfriend) of course i am watching her like a hawk. many thanks again to everyone involved. millie mum helen x x
Jenny & Tiga k9tracker
Just picked up a message from the owners to say that had Tiga been allowed to carry on tracking through the manor and out across a field he would have found Milly and made it a hat trick for the West Country over the last week. We had to pick Tiga up and turn him around as the ground staff said we shouldn't go any further. I am just so over the moon that Milly is back safe with her owners.

Milly's owner is unavailable tomorrow any sighting please ring 07807291611. The tracker came today she thinks we should concentrate on the webbery area as this is where the beagle seemed to scent the most. They were fantastic.

We were out searching yesterday and will keep looking. We looked local and several miles radius. Let's hope we'll find her soon, our thoughts are with you xx.Last edited: 2013-11-04 17:15:37 by Mo

I had to go to Bideford today so went up to the church again. It was quite warm in the sunshine and hoping that it might have tempted her out for a warm up - left a few meaty chunks near the grave stones. Sorry no sign but i did talk to a couple of people who asked me how big Milly is, etc. I saw the posters up at the bus stop and lamp posts but I suppose people go by in their cars and don't see. Great news about the Journal and Gazette. Keep looking, so many seem to be found where they went missing and I feel sure she is close by. XX
Update: Jenny has agreed to see if she can bring Tiga for a night or two before heading home to Kent after her busy week here and that wonderful result with Rosie this morning. Thank you so much Jenny I hope you find a suitable site for the camper van. XXXLast edited: 2013-11-04 15:08:22 by Fergal - Area Volunteer - Cornwall

Have shared on lots of dog groups on face book.Sadly I don't live in this area otherwise I would be out searching. If lots of posters could be put up around the area in supermarkets ,shops etc, just to make as many people aware that would be good. I do hope Milly is found safe and well soon and it is good that she is microchipped. x

I’ve found that it helps to print out an A4 sheet of paper cut into business-card size slips, each with brief details and your phone number on. Give them to all the local dog walkers, postmen etc. you meet. Then if someone has news when they’re out and about they don’t need to find a poster or log on to the site to contact you. Glad there's so many people searching. Hope you find Milly very soon.

Thanks lesley m, I wondered if that was the case with the groomer's phone - I had tried twice but you were obviously all out. It was getting dark by the time I arrived, I managed to get very lost, but I know where it is now and can join in any search being organised - or even just sit. I so hope she will show herself soon. X

the groomer was out looking with us,and the owners husband is back to work tomorrow, but she may be home as is disabled. we did leave food, and looked in the churchyard . there were about 50 people looking today, some for 4 or 5 hours , so brilliant, but still nothing . this dog will probably hide as its a rescue dog and very nervous, thats why its so hard to find her :(

Thank you so much for that updates Fergal's Servant, we don't have a coordinator for Devon, lots of helpers though so let's hope they can continue the search while owner is at work. It would be good if someone could keep an eye on the possible nest site and maybe leave a little food there for her.
DogLostFergal - Area Volunteer - Cornwall
The telephone number above is the groomer's and doesn't seem to be being answered. The home number of the owner is 01271 324054. Spoke to owner tonight. Could this be updated please. Local people being a real help searching fields and elsewhere, but owner back at work Monday and unable to spend the daytime searching now.

I had a look around the churchyard and lane today, also there was a shed at the back with broken door but too dark to see if it has been used. There was what could have been a nesting site (ring of flattened grass) up against one of the gravestones (to the right as you come in the lych gate and up by the wall which runs along the lane, but no other signs. Could there be more posters as I saw only one today? I wasn't at the search yesterday and don't know how many people are aware of her, or local businesses/farms etc.
