- Rocky, as this dog is known, has been reunited with his owners yipppeeeeee!
Rocky and his owners are from Scotland and they came visiting friends here, which is where they lost him.
They have been to collect him and he's now safe back home :)
Well done to the finder who worked so hard in finding his family (even though they are missing him lots) and welcome home gorgeous boy xxx - 2013-11-05 07:59 Claire Gresty - Area Co-ordinator & Police Liaison - North West
- Had a couple of updates on this lovely boy, posted below, I'm sure someone is missing him x
Hi all, an update on the Lost Dog. No owner has been found yet, thanks for all the interest and suggestions. We've been round all the vets, dog groomers and RSPCA and put posters in prominent places. He seems to be quite old, is very well behaved and has been well looked after by one of the museum staff over the weekend. Someone must be missing this little fella :)
Hi all, great to see so much interest in this little fella, no change as yet, put more posters in the area, so hopeful the owner will be found. He is a lot livelier than when we found him and is a cracking little dog, thanks :) - 2013-11-01 09:05 Claire Gresty - Area Co-ordinator & Police Liaison - North West
- Just got through, not sure if there was a fault on the line. I spoke to a receptionist there who checked with the nurse and Alfie is definately at home, so it can't be him :( hope this little doggy gets back home, he's so cute, someone must be missing him x

- Had the following posted on my page, now I've tried ringing the number thats in google for this doctors but it's just a dead line, not sure if it's a fault or a wrong number? Is there anyone local who can pop in and see if there is a nurse who works there missing a dog? x
I often walk my dog at Haddocks wood and this looks like 'Alfie' owned by a nurse who works at Hallwood park who walks him there every day too. I'm in work now and unable to ring but it may be worth a quick call. Hope he's reunited soon. - 2013-10-31 20:33 Claire Gresty - Area Co-ordinator & Police Liaison - North West
