- I look down on my family who look so forlorn
Their beloved pet gone, her puppies unborn
But please may I ask you for us do not weep
As my puppies, and I are only asleep
I can only imagine the pain that you feel
I hope in time your broken hearts will heal
When my puppies are born in Heaven above
I will try to send you a sign, and send you my love
When the time is right we will meet once more
As my puppies, and I greet you at God`s Heavewnly door.
From
Tiger Lily

- The owner was going to return straight awY to collect tiger lily. Tiga is so sad and hid tail has only gone back up today. It is his second sad find in only a few weeks. I hope the two dog walkers are ok that arrived at the same time.

- Not the outcome any of us was hoping for and my thoughts go out to the owners who must be devastated...so sorry! What I have learned from this incident is that there a lot of good kind people out there who are prepared to put themselves out both physically and emotionally. I for one will not hesitate to call for help in the very early stages of a lost pet knowing the support that is there in our area ,,,thanks one and all.

- Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

- I am very sorry to bring sad news. Tiga tracked through brambles etc to an area near some water and would go no further. Searchers then saw Tiger Lily in the water. Her body is still being recovered, but owner has been able to see tag and confirm it is her. So heartbreaking for everyone.

- We drove around the local area twice yesterday and drove/walked Deli, Camelford, Delabole, Trewalder, St Teath, Lanteglos, Davidstow 3 times today. If I can get off work early on Sunday we will join the foot search too. Hoping she is found sooner though.

- I can possibly be available for a search this weekend. If details are posted on the site, I will keep an eye on it for further info.

- @wickedweims, thank you. The lady from Kent is K9tracker and she has been in Devon for a couple of days searching for a different dog, so agreed to go and help. I expect she will have arrived by now.
- 2013-11-01 18:17 Mike
- Last time this dog went missing I saw her in the fields above Trevia with another, I have verified this with owner. I have put out some posters in the Trevia area and passed the word around, but there is no sign of her in the area today Lot of rough ground between Deli and Trevia where she could be but a lot is on private land. Will Keep looking!

- Have all barns/outbuildings nearby been checked? If you get a dry spell, perhaps could try cooking some nice smelly sausages on a disposable barbecue? It might just be enough to draw her out if she's holed up somewhere.
- 2013-11-01 14:14 KimNat
- Have you put an appeal out on Pirate Fm radio, phone them up and ask them to send out a live appeal rather than just log it on their site, explaining the urgency of finding her due to her condition. Fingers crossed for her family.

- Hi, I can join an organised search this weekend (only restricted by having my children with me). Just let me know what I can do to help. I'll get out today and make sure local village shops have posters and are aware (they are best for getting word out around here). I'm assuming the Valley Truckle service station has a poster up already? If not I'll pop up there later. Maddy (can't believe it was a year ago my boy Jay was on the run).

- Have been speaking to owner since she went missing owl, treacles owner from earlier this year gave her my number, all the dairies and the caravan sites have been postered as it is half term and the postman local dw and lots of other people are aware they did asl if we could get the lady from kent down who helped for the search with treacle
- 2013-11-01 09:04 Owl
- Please could I ask searchers to get all nearby villages e.g. Delabole, well postered. There is always the chance that someone may have picked her up and could be tempted to keep her.

- I have just been on phone to K9tracker who is currently tracking another dog in Devon and given her owner's details. She will head over there around midday. Tracking is difficult in the West Country at present especially for ground scent because of all the rain, and this scent will be old. But it is likely that Tiger Lily has not gone all that far and has holed up somewhere. We have had a few on Doglost who have taken off before whelping and hidden themselves in unexpected places. If this is the case she will have been coming out for toilet and hunting, and there may be a fresher scent somewhere around. No reply from owner's phone at present, but reception in N Cornwall is patchy so we will keep trying.

- Is there anyone in the area with a tracker dog? This girlie needs to be found real quick - not only pups on the way, but no doubt lots of fireworks this weekend, which will possibly scare her out of the area :(

- Stay safe Tiger Lily, hope this poor girl is found very soon x

- Have you let the dog warden know you can do this via the Cornwall Council website too
My Email address is mandy@afilador.co.uk if I can be of any more help - 2013-10-31 23:13 Afiladorww
- I walk my dogs out that way every day so will keep my eyes open for her We lost my friend's Manchester terrier Dolly in a very similar area to Tiger Lily we caught her up in substation up opposite Atlantic garage via a sighting of her by one of husband's patients owners so it may be possible she has wandered that far
My Husband is the Vet at Penbode and has already put a poster up
Good Luck I hope she is home with you really soon - 2013-10-31 22:37 Moogie - Area Volunteer, Cornwall
- Email sent to over 3000 network cornwall members
It maybe worth setting up an organised search for her this weekend - 2013-10-31 21:40 Penpethick Farm
- I have posted details of Tiger Lily on every local FB page and have spoken to Jean at Deli Farm & Mr Ward the farmer who lives the Lanteglos end of Deli Farm, they will search their respective farms tomorrow. Camelford Police are being extremely helpful and will have a look for her tomorrow. In addition I have also visited Julietts Well, a holiday park and the local golf course. Camelford Police have asked to be kept updated should Tiger Lily be found. There are quite a few people in Camelford that are willing to search for her if needed
