- Thats great news Andy, thanks for the update, I'm sure he'll be fine in a day or two :) he's been a lucky boy!
Stay safe now handsome Dodger :) x - 2013-11-04 18:25 Andy F
- Last update. Dodgers been to the vet and amazingly no damage from the car, just has a small graze on his front paw making him limp. Given a thorough check up and the vet said he was in very good condition in view of recent events. He'll be chipped next week, vet said best to give him a week to get back to normal. A very big thank you to everyone who helped search for him, and you do a fantastic job on this site. Will log on frequently to see if we can help with any missing dogs in our area. Thanks againLast edited: 2013-11-04 19:22:26 by Andy F

- Such great news, im delighted he's home, safe and well. When I saw him walk around the corner with that amazing lady I couldn't believe my eyes!! He was definitely showing the lady where he lived and it looked like he had a smile on face coz he knew he was nearly home!! Well done Dodger, you will certainly go down in "Park Close" history.

- So pleased for you and Dodger, he will soon bounce back, he's had a rough couple of days.
Hope he goes ok at the vets tomorrow, please keep us posted.
Hope you soon feel better gorgeous Dodger (I'm a sucker for labradors!) x - 2013-11-03 18:18 Andy F
- He has had a bath and didn't seem to mind us gently rubbing his back end dry, but will get him checked at the vets tomorrow (and microchipped). Not interested in his dog food, but has had scrambled eggs (which he loves) and is now fast asleep. This brilliant lady found him close to home, lost his disc, tangled in bramble on golf course. Got him free and was going to take him home and report him. She said he seemed to know where he wanted to go, so she let him and met someone who said they thought they knew where he lived. Will sleep a lot easier tonight not worrying about him.

- This is from AndyF's other half. Hope he is safe somewhere this evening as so many fireworks going off everywhere. I cannot believe that he hasn't been seen by anyone, he loves the company of other people and dogs (and some cats)and would run up to anyone he sees. If you have seen him, or have him, please think about the owners, we have had him since my son was 10, so he feels as though he has lost a friend.

- PLEASE PLEASE can any helpers in this area assist Dodgers owners in searching for him !! A dog matching his description was found last night in the Peg Lane area of Cleckheaton and the police were called to assist but he apparently ran off from them towards Cleckheaton ! - Thanks for the offer Sally, just keep a lookout when you walk Harvey. Neighbours helped to look for him last night for 2 1/2 hours. Lynda and Max have been out today alround St Giles and hove edge, but nothing as yet. Looked in woods and fields of St. Giles. Just hope he isn't injured from the car which caught his back end, but he ran off pretty quickly.
