- If anyone can get out and poster the whole area that would be helpful, also all local vets need to be made aware. DW knows and will call if there are any sightings called in to her.

- Poster has been put up in our shop window in Bookham. We hope Ruby is found soon

- Good idea Baggy, maybe DogLost can I corporate something like that into new website software, handouts as well as posters. I will make phone calls to councils, dog wardens and vets as soon as they open, see if we can find out what has happened to the dog from Fair Oak a lane on Saturday night.

- I’ve found that it helps to print out an A4 sheet of paper cut into business-card size slips, each with brief details and your phone number on. Give them to all the local dog walkers, postmen etc. you meet. Then if someone has news when they’re out and about they don’t need to find a poster or log on to the site to contact you. Poor Ruby, hope she's found today. Glad she's microchipped.

- Thee has been a later sighting about 10pm, of a dog in same area, lead on the side of the road, had head up, 7 people were stood around it. Owner has checked with local vets, none have had a dog brought in. Owner went up this evening to look, has put posters up, farmers are going to check perimeters tomorrow. Is anyone available to look in daylight incase she is in the woodland area injured?

- Possible sighting of this dog. Driving east on fairoak lane, Malden rushett, coming up the hill before the back exit from Chessington world as the road bears to the right. Time was yesterday 8.45pm.
Dog, possibly a boxer, ran from the wood on the right into the road, we passed it and it returned to the wood. Thought it was a boxer and had a white flash on its front. its collar looked bluish but could be the studs reflecting in our headlights. Could still be in the prince's coverts wood area.
Nanna07 saw via your Horton posters.Last edited: 2013-11-03 19:10:22 by Colinb - 2013-11-03 18:50 Nanna07
- We walked round Horton Park for over 2 hours, put up posters, handed out small versions of it to dog walkers we met and then left posters the shops. Just hope it helps. Poor baby must be so scared.

- I walked in Court Rec this morning, told all the people/dog walkers that I met, I thought maybe she had been found because I didn't see any posters.
I've told all my neighbours to be on the lookout. The Vets in the park will be open tomorrow, make sure they know about her and have a poster in their window if she isn't home by then............I so hope she is of course. - 2013-11-03 11:17 Jenners - Area Volunteer, Gloucestershire
- Thanks Nanna07 :)

- Ruby is used to being walked in Longmead, Horton Country Park and Pound Lane Park, best to poster these areas and the routes in between. Thank you so much for helping :)
- 2013-11-03 09:03 Nanna07
- We can get there to look today, where is the best place to poster? Was thinking station then along that row of shops?
- 2013-11-03 07:26 Jenners - Area Volunteer, Gloucestershire
- Thank you Jan, I am from the rescue HCBW that rehomed Ruby, her owner is out looking. It is good there will be people about today, the more we share her poster, the better chance we'll get of sightings. We are hoping someone may have taken her in last night and will go and get her scanned today, fingers crossed we hear something soon x

- Have sent round to family and friends, Pound Lane Park is Court Recreation Ground, I live very near there, will pass the word round. It will probably be full of young footballers this morning. Does she usually walk there ? Think I may have met you and Ruby. Hope she is found safely very soon.

- Shared on Lincolnshire Essex and Trent Boxer Rescue members forum. I do hope Ruby is found safe, poor girl. Fireworks cause such distress, even to pets safely at home :-< Last edited: 2013-11-03 06:40:31 by LindaT
