- Other Info Lass climbed out of a secure high-sided pen after being scared by fireworks on Saturday evening. She is a much-loved family pet and is 18 months old. she is MICROCHIPPED and is very friendly. Please look out for her. If FOUND she should be reported to the Council Dog Warden (which is the LAW)

- Brilliant news - I have just received an update that Lass is home:
Lass was at a neighbouring farm 2 miles away. Richard the farmer spotted her behind his shed this morning. It took a while to catch her. She is safe, thinner and back home. Hooray. Thank you for everyones help. XX

- I was in contact with Lass's owner a little earlier to request a photo. Betley is not far from Crewe, but is in North Staffordshire, so is on the border of two dog warden areas.
I have emailed general advice and information which will cover the South Cheshire area, but have limited knowledge of the Staffs area. I have provided details of the Newcastle dog warden, but if anyone has details of the local kennels for this area, it would be greatly appreciated.
I understand that Lass has been reported missing with the microchip company and the Newcastle Dog warden and local police and local vets are all aware. I understand her owners have organised adverts in The sentinel running from tomorrow and have been sharing her details widely on facebook.
