- Hi I know I should have posted here so much sooner, and also whilst teddy was missing but it was a whirlwind few days and I didn't stop searching. I want to thank sue and Caroline for all their help and advice, and to all our friends family and strangers who helped search and reposted on Facebook. We know how lucky we are to have found teddy and to have him home with us. We are forever grateful to you all xxx I'm now on alerts and will always go out searching for missing dogs with my beagles in tow.

- Finally back home after an amazing spell away tracking and so glad that Teddy is one of those safely home. I am not surprised his pads are so sore after the miles he has covered and mainly on tarmac and through brambles for such a young dog.
Tiga picked up the scent from the last sighting and immediately crossed over the road to the opposite side to previous searches and tracked towards and around a farm and then on through woods and forest. We asked the owner to get ahead of us as the scent was strong and when he got there Teddy was sitting waiting. Well done everyone who was involved - the next night was very cold and Teddy was very frightened. - 2013-11-08 21:02 Mollychops
- Teddy is better tonight and able to walk around , he has been in the kitchen looking for food which I think is a very good sign he will be OK

- Well done team Teddy!

- owner rang me this morning, Teddy is very stiff and can hardly walk , I wonder wether he has had an accident. I suggested It might be his back, and Jenny who tracked him was also of the same mind when she texted me earlier, Im speaking with owners in a short while and will update Thanks Ciren he was found in Hailey Wood near Tarlton , I had an idea he might stay in the area as dogs who are totally lost tend to stay in the same place , well usually anyway . Please thank the RDA for me, we have had such incredible support from local people.

- Teddy is back home from the vets and is snuggled up on his bed with his mum and dad. He has got sore pads from all the running and smelt a bit too, but after a bath and cuddles he seems happy. Thanks to everyone who shared this, helped with poster and walking miles. A fantastic ending.

- Welcome home Teddy. Hope you are ok.
Well done Tiga & search party. - 2013-11-07 18:00 Owl
- Teddy is limping on a front leg so has gone to vet to be checked over. Tiga got a good scent and showed the search party which way to go. The searchers split up to cover a wider area, and luckily Teddy did a howl which helped them locate him, and he was caught by Paul.

- Fab news! Jan and I just got in from postering round the polo fields and the area around Ciren Park, been searching an old barn up there, came back in the dark, kept thinking about the little chap and worrying about more fireworks going off, fab news to come through the door and see this! Will go and take down the posters tomorrow. Wahoooo!

- Jenny has arrived safely. I will update when I hear how the search is going, Iexpect they will start this afternoon. Lots more searching and postering of the area. The word is really spreading, everyone seems to have heard of Teddy. I just want to say a big thankyou to the Bathurst Estate for being very supportive to the owners and allowing us to search there. Ive suggested to the owners that they start to widen the search now, taking in local towns etc. Teddy is going in the local papers soon. Network rail have been contacted as the main line from Swindon to Stroud runs through this area.

- Will be walking around the fields at Stratton which back onto Cirencester park and Hayley wood. Will keep a look out. Can poster this area too if not already done.
- 2013-11-06 12:39 Mollychops
- Thanks for coming out Caroline, you have been a great help. Coates , Tarlton Cherington, Frampton Mansell and Sapperton have now been postered. Hailey wood , the owners walked around, but sadly no sightings. Local people in Coates have been walking and riding in there too and searching. Ive suggested the disused canal towpath is postered, as this is a fairly direct route, up to this area where he has been spotted, This goes down from Sapperton , and through the village of Chalford, which is very near to where he went from. Owners are returning to the spot later at dusk , and will lay scent trails, and leave some of Teddys bedding. Ive sent out scenting advice to help them. Lots of people are aware, and Im hoping once this dreadful rain stops there might be some more sightings.Last edited: 2013-11-06 12:50:16 by Mollychops

- I have tweeted the Tunnel House Inn between Coates and Tarlton as it backs onto Hailey Wood in the hope that someone might mention him or he turns up there.

- Rau beagles huntsman just rang me to say SIGHTING REPORTED NEAR HAILEY WOOD 6.45 am today Where the railway line crosses the main road. Owner aware, and off there now. I be heading off to help poster the villages of Coates and Tarlton . Locals will assume this is an RAU hound so they will get more sightings and be able to pass on to me. Thanks Harry XXLast edited: 2013-11-06 09:03:16 by Mollychops

- Shared Team Beagle Lost and found & Beagles Uk. Please could Teddy's description be changed from tan & white to TRI as they are completely different.
- 2013-11-06 07:53 Mollychops
- Trying to find out where exactly the sighting was in the West of Cirencester Park which is a huge area, and he is probably in the Sapperton Frampton Mansell , and hopefully staying where he can be seen tod ay. Owner is out there now, and will be updating me shortly . Ive suggested who to contact in the area, and a friend of mine, who always seems to find strays was first on my list !!Owner will be postering later, once she has got them printed. Teddy is chipped, and I will make sure both Stroud and Cotswold DWs are aware, Cheltenham, and teckels dogs homes.
