BUmping for a SIGHTING of Bertie in fields behind Stables Antiques in Norton. Please see the post below by Dave !
Dave
Bertie was seen today in Norton he was sat by a wall in the fields behind Stable Antiques ie the strawberry fields to the locals. he looked to be in good health and when approached appeared playful but the farmer slammed the gate and he ran off towards the woods on the far side of the field.
We have walked his mother all round the area tonight to leave a fresh scent and will be out again in the morning looking. Those in that area are going to keep an eye out for him returning to that spot. We have left food and an item of our clothing there. Positive news at last.
