There is one listed as missing on nationalpetregister.org although it is missing from Scotland does bear a striking resemblance. ref 54434. I have left a messages with owner & can only assume that since there has been no response or update of this one, that it isn't theirs!

I hope the owner can be traced. I saw 2 bichon/maltsese crosses today who were the spitting image of this little one!

I would like to echo what Angelmort said. Also I am not sure if the breed shows up on chip details or not, so maybe that is what it says!

Hi redmonkey. I'm really sorry, I hope you don't think we were moaning about the description given, (the vet should know better!). I think it's just when you know a breed we get concerned if it's listed not quite right in-case the owner may not look at the listing. As this little one is chipped, even though it's registered in Belgium, hopefully the vet will be able to contact them very soon. Thank you for listing it on here.

Hi. I agree with Max and Lesleyjane, by the photo, this is def not a 100% Bichon. Is either a Bichon cross or Maltese cross. Hope it's family are found real soon! x

I agree lesleyjane, to me it has the look of a Maltese, unless of course this is a very young Bichon, then it would look like this ( I have a Bichon)

Are you sure of the breed? Coat type and half-tail description seem to indicate to me it may be a cross of some sort, would hate for owner to overlook this listing.....

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
