I received the sad news this morning in a reply to the email I had sent to try and help. So very sorry for the owners as he wasn't very old. So sad he never made it home x

Met owners at first light and have done a good sweep of the woods, no sign of Toby at all. If he'd have been able to, he would have come to us I'm sure...
I've Facebooked and Tweeted - local police and search dogs have retweeted too which is great, the more people we reach, the better.
I'm out for the day but, if he's not back tomorrow (hope he will be), I'll be there again and probably widen the search area. I know other locals will be helping today.
Keeping everything crossed he shows himself soon.

Have emailed my normal advice sheets to them and asked them to phone me tomorrow if he is not back. But to ensure they make sure they phone every kennel etc as not all have scanners especially over the weekend.

Added photo ready for alerts - owner has contacted dog warden etc and put posters out, have asked for a better photo if possible and given brief advice via fb .people out looking but no sign of him so far.
