Well, have to say I didn't hold out much hope for the little guy! He is back with owners now, who live very near to where he was found. Thanks to all involved!

Sorry, no - the dog was in a bad way, so didn't want to disturb him to get a better photo. He isn't a Chihuahua, but that seemed closest. He had several fox characteristics in appearance, but his main feature was his advanced age. He also had very long claws and was wearing a black fabric collar with plastic fastenings. He is being looked after by RSPCA in Putney - ref 1892/08/11/2013 (tel: 0300 1234 999).
