- she was a very lucky dog. her owner was alerted to a sighting near Gildersome at the M62/ M621 intersection and went searching in a small wooded area and Purdy responded to her.

Have made contact with Purdy's owner. She went missing from the stables yesterday afternoon. Presently it appears that she may have been unclipped and taken.
Have given her owner out of hours contact details and numbers and advised contacting the police.
When she went missing Purdy was wearing a collar and ID tag.
Discussed postering the area and checking with neighbouring farms for CCTV
If found,she must be reported to the dog warden, as is required by LAW
