It is with a heavy heart that it has been requested that Mist be moved to Rainbow Bridge. Following more in depth discussions with Network Rail today the family are as certain as they can be that Mist was involved in a fatal collision.

Mist's owners are following up reports from Network Rail about a possible sighting of Mist on Sunday and then a possible incident on the the line since then involving an animal, around a mile or so from where Mist was last sighted.
Really hoping that the animal involved in the incident wasn't Mist. Network rail have no further information at the moment but logged and reported the sighting and the incident.
A further search of the area is going to be conducted tomorrow

Oh, I walked down there on Saturday, they have fenced off the railway line, so a bit difficult to get across, but not impossible, one gate saw slightly open. No-one I met mentioned a dog, but I know where to start now, but he could be anywhere, towards Ackworth, Crofton, Wakefield, even Castleford.

There have been no reported sightings of Mist since the evening that he went missing after being spooked. The last reported sighting was of him having crossed over the trainline crossing from halfpenny lane at Featherstone and then being sighted near some houses over that side.
The area beyond that is very rural and leads into woodland. Have discussed searching and postering.
Mist is Microchipped and tattooed and has been flagged up as missing with all the relevant authorities, including network rail.
When he went missing he was wearing a collar and red fleece coat.
Really hoping for more news of Mist very soon.
If found, he must be reported to the dog warden, as is required by LAW

Hadn't realised that this dog got loose very near where I live, have been out and about every day, not heard or seen anything, or anyone mentioning this dog.
