Now you are registered on DogLost you will get email alerts of any dogs going missing in your area.

Taxi drivers are one of the best people to alert and look out for missing pets. I know a few taxi drivers (don't work with the Company you do).

Nikoh is one lucky boy to have got in your taxi and LOL he did not want to get out, he knew where he was safe. x

No problem Jan thanks for the add on facebook, no better feelin than re uniting a dog luckily I've managed 3 out of 3 this year mikoh was abit more complicated though having to track him down but I was determined and never gonna give up, dog 2 was a pug found in walton took him home for the nite and went out with my own dog early next mornin were I found his oweners walkin round lookin for him so I asked for pics of proof then took them to be re united, dog 1 was a staffordshire bull terrier same again early hours of the mornin on his own opened my door and offered him in he was straight through my car door had him for about 15 hours couldn't find any owener checked all websites an rang a few places to see if anyone is lookin for him wasn't gettin anywere so a dog warden picked him up and 2 days later I called to see how he got an an found out he'd been re united, no jayne I don't but maybe I should cause I had to run after the pug haha

Made up to of helped get him home, that's the 3rd dog I've reuinted with oeners in the past year 2 I've picked up of the street and kept an found owener, picked mikoh up as a fare early monday then seen the missin ad he's not my dog but I wouldn't of give up till I found him not after havin him in my car that was just doin my bit,

What a brilliant outcome. Well done to the taxi driver for having the courage to go to the address to confront the man with the owner.

Cut down version of events: Got first text from owner this morning at 5.25am this morning. Owner had been contacted by a taxi driver after he had seen posters in the County Road area, he said he had picked a man up with Mikoh, did not know the address but where it was. He very kindly took one of his owners to the address early today. Someone answered but the man was not at the address with Mikoh. A lot has gone on today and owners went back and knocked again the guy said he did not have Mikoh, owners rang the taxi driver who went and confronted the man who could not deny then that he had had him. Mikoh had been sold on and the person who innocently bought him hand him back, he said his daughter would be upset.

What a total STAR the TAXI driver has been for his help and assistance and making that most important call. WELL DONE to Mikoh’s owners for working hard and getting the posters up, which have done the trick once again.

Have spoken to owner who is over the moon and was still crying and in shock.

Look forward to getting the REUNITED photo which we all love to see and cannot wait to meet the gorgeous MIKOH and him owners in person.

Thank you to everyone who has helped in the search, spread the word.

Yes got an alert last night (see post below 21.43). Owner went to the area and have been told someone was trying to sell him and he may have been sold.

Saw this dog roaming at 2:30 this morning on County Rd outside Zen's off licence.

Owner is aware and has gone to the area.

Spoken to owner and updated the details and grouped the photo/s together (you may need to refresh to view the photo/s).

The house was burgled early hours this morning and owner gave chase to the culprits. I've give immediate advice and will email it in more details. Owner's are not sure if he is microchipped to previous owner. He is not registered as yet with the AW's but should be soon.

Have started sharing his details on fb. Keeping everything crossed he is back home soon. x
