  • Other Info Nala is an akita husky cross but looks like a classic akita inu with the red coloring's. Only just re-homed her several days ago and she's quite nervous of people but so far not a danger to anyone. She's more likely to respond to another dog than human i believe. Last seen in the Northbourne area.

So glad to see she is back home safe.

Fantastic news. Bearing in mind she'd only just been rehomed, would she have known her own way home so soon or has someone realised there was too much publicity surrounding her being missing? Either way, glad she is reunited.

Now time to get her microchipped!

"
Nala has returned home. She found her way back this morning fine and happy, just a little skinny."

I’ve found that it helps to print out an A4 sheet of paper cut into business-card size slips, each with brief details and your phone number on. Give them to all the local dog walkers, postmen etc. you meet. Then if someone has news when they’re out and about they don’t need to find a poster or log on to the site to contact you. A picture may be useful here too as she's quite distinctive. Glad there's been some sightings. Hope the old owner is able to come and help too.

Hello I thought I would post an update on Nala as the owners pc has crashed :-( Nala has been seen on Beacons Hill between Ripple and Northbourne and this was a confirmed sighting yesterday 18th however she is very nervous and is very flighty and fast. She has today 19th been seen at the Hack and Tack shop at Northbourne Road Great Mongeham CT14 0HB. the owner is currently trying to liaise with previous owner to come over as she may respond better to old owner than him due to the short time he has had her x they will be setting up a feeding station to attract her and try to keep her in the area but as the nights are now getting to freezing and below he is desperate to get her home safe and sound x
