With a very heavy heart I have to report that Georgia's owner received a call today by Motorway Maintenance to let her know that her little body had been recovered and that she had been deceased for a while.
My thoughts are with Georgia and her family. Run free at Rainbow Bridge sweetheart.

Border terrier found in Wigan 17 Dec. not much info but may be a female. Seen on Facebook group 'Cat and Dogs lost Wigan and surrounding area'. There is a photo.

Female bt found in Coventry tonight - that's the second dog in a couple of days pulled out of the canal there! Will be with dog warden tomorrow - she is currently with PDSA there

Thank you all of you. Haggis, yes she knows the area around the Rugby Club well so it is highly likely she would return to the same area I do not know it myself but owners inform me she was lost in the woods near there. She is described as a happy friendly little dog who lives with others so I do not feel searching with your own dogs would frighten her. However, if you do see her best to ring owners straightaway and keep her in sight until they get there rather than trying to get her yourself unless of course she does actually come right to you..

I live a couple of hundred meters from rugby club so have forwarded info to neighbours. Do I gather from info below that she is local to rugby club area so may still be in the area? Is she likely to be lured by my dogs or put off by them if still around here?

Have spoken to owner, added photo and corrected breed to full Border Terrier, not a cross. Have given general advice, she ran off whilst rabbiting in an area she is familiar with. Other dog returned. Will email advice sheets, contact numbers etc.
Am adding to DogLost Leicestershire fb, DogLost Central fb, DogLost East Midlands and Warks.plus
my own and other relevant local sites.
