Aza im still looking for you sweetheart, who ever rehomed you, knows your situation and is unwilling to get in touch, despite my pleas, and reward offered, even mdh tried to help by sharing your new plea, as they're unable to give details under the data protection act. I only hope little girl that if for any reason your taken to a vets that they will scan you and see how hard we've been trying to trace you and get you home.....

Debbie
well I gave it my best Aza, did everything necessary, sent picture against your found ref at mcdh, explained everything and how I tracked you down, and even asked to forward an appeal letter to your new owners to get in touch with your daddy....?
I've not heard back from anyone I just hope you are back where you belong... Bless you Aza xxx Debs xxx

I think need to confirm that these are the same dog. Was there a photograph to compare the 2 dogs? From details held on microchip this dog did escape before and was picked up and reunited so chip does work. Not sure how reunited as details were not there to give but maybe from council records against lost dogs?
I would suggest let owner see photo to check this is his dog that was found then rehomed and could easily be abother dog.
Debbie
oh aza where are you babe? xxx
Debbie

Debbie please contact me on 07960968339 . Aza was registered with us when she had already been missing for almost a month and i initially advised Jack it was very important that he needed to get her contact details updated on her microchip records as he told me he hadn't done this x

Debbie can you send in the chip number to admin@doglost.co.uk making sure you quote ID60568. I do not have access to the chip number database but a couple of our coordinators do and they may be able to help you.Last edited: 2014-05-21 10:43:06 by AlisonH
Debbie
alison & jumanji, I need some help please.

I've sent a poster out on aza claiming that she was rehomed from mcdh
and help with her whereabouts... It's possible that her owner would like to take this further as she was chipped, however the problem now is that i've found out her chip is polish. having investigated the status on chips from the eu are compliant with our scanners in the uk, im up against the wall as to which polish company provided it?
I'm checking if mcdh would have been able to find it with their equipment, as it puts a new light on situation if it does?

What im hoping for please is that as I have the chip number given by jack, would you be able to inform me of the provider please?

many thanks debbie x
Debbie
I have sent out an appeal poster on aza & hoping its shared far & wide to help get her home. hang on in there Jack! x
Debbie
heres an update on aza
"I FOUND HER", tracing back on animal wardens site 215 pages 15 to a page
narrowed down to 26 possibilities, then got her!! she was picked up in stockport day after went missing, by wardens & taken to manchester dogs home. although chipped this wasnt found, & sadly after her 7 days there she was rehomed.
Jack & myself feel that we should try & appeal to the public, and try & see if who ever rehomed her would consider her going back to her proper family, as shes been with them since she was a few weeks old, Aza will be 12 on the 14th of may, and jack has clearly been searching for her since last october.
Have yet to start an appeal im hoping for some guidance as never done anything like this before, but have found out that the law states no info can be passed once a dog has been rehomed, except if the dog gets a new chip & therefore a cpr31 disclosure & inspection of documents form can see the new details of a rehomed dog. Hope it doesn't even go there but I felt I had to check out all avenues before proceeding.

Alison & Jumanji would you give me some guidance please or be able to help us out? would be most appreciated, many thanks
Debs x

Any news of her? x
Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
Thanks Jayne and Ella x
Aza went missing from her back garden and her owner believes she may have just wandered off.
The dog warden and kennels were contacted and her owner kept checking with them . Some postering has been done and I have advised her owner to continue to do more postering and to get some media coverage as someone may have taken her in. Anyone finding a dog is required by law to report this to the dog warden.
Hoping this lovely girl is found very soon x x Last edited: 2013-11-27 00:29:07 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

Sorry to see that AZA is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (60568)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
