- Other Info Staff x Collie ? Vets, RSPCA, Warden, local dog lost, local town forum – all informed, and posters up, no contact made over 24 hours later. With me till this eveing, then going on to foster for a couple days before pound.

- Sometimes Councils aren't able to let you have the dog until they have had 7 days in the pounds, so that they lawfully take ownership of the dog. But they should always let you rehome them after the 7 days.

- Reunited sat night. In our network of rescuers we have a microchip gizmo to id pets. I was told today if u take in strays to vetsvand ur happy to keep hold of it... u wont get it back they go straight to pound and if lucky has 7 days then most get...... staffies are mostly filling the pounds. - Hi this is not my dog but im willing to help if possible to stop him going to the pound as my thoughts could be a death sentence as just overflowing with staffies.... Ill call the number in morning. Or if u get this msg me thanks

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
