Without internet over weekend but SOOOooo pleased that the beautiful Silver has been recovered. I was trying to psych myself up to offer to enquire at local traveller sites otherwise.

Hello everyone and many , many thanks for your messages. Nadine, your comments were most helpful. I am pleased to say that due to this site's hard work and also animal finders, Silver has been returned to us via the local dog warden! She is much thinner and a little nervous, but back with the people that love her.

need to check with owner but have an email from an officer I had contact with over these recent thefts at Thames Valley Police saying recovered.
Will not switch till confirmed.

Hello Martin & All, I have just been messaging with a friend who knows a number of the travelling community and she suggested that if a couple of non-confrontational people (ideally ladies) attended the site with a collar and lead and said they had lost their dog and offer a reward for the safe return of the dog... have you seen her etc etc, my friend seemed to think that on the whole we would have reasonable luck. I am happy to put some money in the pot if you wanted to try this. Just an idea. xx

Yarnton (OX5) have small travellers site just off A44 near Pear Tree Park & Ride. I can't think of others nearer to city centre but as I'm West Oxon way I may not be aware of them.
