Great news, Jig has been found! A member of a local shoot found him caught up in dense undergrowth not far from where he was lost. He is absolutely fine, if a little hungry. We had just done a lot of postering so we will now go round and take them all down again - very happily. Thank you all for your help - we will be sending a donation.

Jig has only been in his new home 3 weeks when he ran off not far from home. He may not be able to find his way back as he doesn't know the area that well.He was only chipped on Friday luckily , and his owners have contacted the dog warden and the local vets. His owners do not have a photo, so they have sent me a similar looking collie . I will send them a link to the poster and my advice sheets. Ive suggested getting the posters up asap and contacting the local paper to make people aware, also the farmers, keepers and local hunt in the area
