So tragic - yet another youngster lost to the railways. I am so very sorry and my thoughts are with the family, who tried so hard to find both Neo and Bella. Run free at the bridge dear Neo, you were beautiful. I do hope that Bella is soon back home, safe and well xxxLast edited: 2013-12-18 00:46:11 by digbysmum

A very upsetting day but it is only Neo that has been found by the rail line. The other animal that was thought to be Bella was sadly a deer. Bella is still out there. Our grateful thanks to guys from Network Rail for their help today.

RIP big boy Neo who will always be fondly remembered xx

This is heart breaking. I am so very sorry. Have fun at the bridge little one. Nothing can harm you now.
DogLostAngus
very sadly I have to move Bella and Neo to Rainbow Bridge - this pair had stayed together but found themselves on the rail line and were sadly victims of the rail line - Claire is with the distraught owner now and the bodies are being retrieved and taken to the vets - Rest in peace you two xx
ClaireC
Hi Sarah, I think that Neo is still entire. I will ask Sharon to check on this found one. Thank you for looking and informing though xx
Sarah
Hi, have you checked out this one found.
http://www.doglost.co.uk/poster.php?dogId=61408#.Uq4XkFtdV0c Think the found one might be a lighter colour down the leg but it's worth a check anyway just in case it's the lighting on the photo.

He's some distance from you but if they are stolen, they can end up anywhere.

This dog was sighted today by Mandeville School as the school was finishing so very much in the same area. I was unfortunately going across the fields at the time! Please keep looking for him. x
ClaireC
Have been out on Sharon's behalf for much of the day to where the sightings have been coming in. One very (I feel) positive sighting of Neo was yesterday at Russel Close or road HP21 area yesterday by the postman. He now has my phone details just in case. Also, there have been again today some very feasible sightings which are still in or very near the same area as yesterday. Today's sighting was in Sheriden Close, Hawkslade/Southcourt area and the dog was seen going across the fields from the Close. I and 3 others have searched fairly extensively but unfortunately the dog is nowhere in sight. This does not mean that the dog is not in the area as he could very well be as there are lots of fields with trees which a dog can go into. Unfortunately, I am unable to go anywhere over the next couple of days but could people please keep a look out for this big boy. It maybe that because he is so large that people might feel intimidated but I do believe he is friendly. If people are using facebook and also this site, can they please put any sightings on here as well as a lot of us don't use facebook. Thank you.Last edited: 2013-12-13 15:51:18 by ClaireC

Trying to find out what road but sighting of a husky in elmhurst x
ClaireC
I plan to have a drive around both Southcourt and and Hawkslade at some varying times today. If anybody sights this dog can they try to give as much information including description of the dog, especially if wearing a coloured collar, time, location and even post code of the sighting area would be a big help. People can always call me also on my mobile 07887652916 if this helps. Thank you. Last edited: 2013-12-13 10:34:39 by ClaireC

ClaireC
Sharon has text to say that there is a possible sighting of Neo around Willow Cresc off Crocus Way Southcourt, Aylesbury. If there is anybody reading this, and they are in the locality, please can they keep an eye out for him. Unfortunately I cannot get there tonight. Thank you xLast edited: 2013-12-12 19:24:16 by ClaireC
ClaireC
Hi Sharon absolute pleasure to meet you and will catch up with you when you have posters ready xx
Sharon Usher
Thank you claire for taking time and driving around to help me find my 2 dogs
ClaireC
Sharon and I have just come back from walking and slow driving around the area(s) nearer to home. It is now known that the dog that was hit on the Wendover Road was not any of Sharon's dogs. This dog and owner were reunited at the vets safely. The dog reported in Aylesbury is not thought to be Neo as was wearing a different colour collar and red bandana.

Over the next few days when Sharon has some more posters printed it is our/my intention if Sharon is at work to put a lot more posters up over Fri. Definite places to poster as a priority are: Weston Turville Golf Course, Outside the Reservoir, Farmland area adjacent to the Church as well as popping one into the farmer. Church Road leading to the Church, There was a credible sighting of these 2 dogs down the Reservoir Road near the corner of Church Lane by the telephone box the other evening very late by a man out walking his dog. Another place to hand in a poster is at the Main Guardroom RAF Halton. The bridge from Halton Village as lots of people walk along the canal towpath. Places to poster are really the footpath walks where there are usually lots of people out walking. Possible Eileens The Florist in Wendover as very likely her driver will take a poster and keep an eye out when delivering likewise the Estate Agents in Wendover may assist as well. I have indicated to Sharon that if she is at work and a sighting comes in and if I am able will go and have a look. Please can you all keep your eyes peeled for these dogs as this lady is desparate to get her much loved dogs back. Thank you. xLast edited: 2013-12-11 14:41:24 by ClaireC

There have been 2 possible sightings of Neo but one we feel doubtful. One is in Little Chalfont - a sighting of a very skinny Husky wearing a red collar (Neo has a brown one on) scaveging through dustbins. Perhaps people could keep an eye out for this one and notify dog warden for your area. The other possible sighting was in Bessamar Crescent, Aylelsbury. Sharon was going there last night to have a look around. The alerts that have gone out do cover this area. Sharon and I are going out today to check out the reporting RTA of an animal on the Wendover Road having looked a couple of times but still worth checking out again. We will update later.Last edited: 2013-12-11 09:23:55 by ClaireC

Hi Teddy's Mum both these 2 missing dogs belong to the same person. If you would like to phone me on 07887652916 I can best explain a little bit more!

I've posted new link onto the DL Facebook page for Bucks: https://www.facebook.com/groups/DOGLOSTBUCKSANDBEDS/ in the hopes of more information about the accident.
Mollie & Will's Mum
Also, if the dog is injured it will most likely hide nearby under a hedge or in a ditch or another safe place - so make sure you look closely if you know the area of the accident.
Mollie & Will's Mum
Hi Sharon, Sorry you've not found your two yet. I would ring around all the local vets again. Won't harm to remind them of Bella and Neo and they may know something about an accident. Also maybe RSPCA? Where on the Wendover Rd was the accident the person spoke of? Where was the last sighting?
Sharon Usher
Put more posters up wendover. halton also there's posters up in weston turville along with stoke mandeville. Also someone told me a dog was hit on the wendover rd. Med to large dog which my husky is I called the police due to data protection act they told me to go to police station as soon as i can went to aylesbury policestation but they could not find any thing. Need help finding if it is my dog
DogLostAngus
Claire called me earlier with news that these two had been sighted last night on private land - I have spoken with owners to make them aware of location and passed contact info
ClaireC
Well done Sharon lets hope that all the postering gets them in. You can also put out a message on Mix 96 01296393396. Go onto their web page beause I think you can post missing dogs on there. Give them a call and they will guide you. I will be back later on today hopefully and will have a look around. Have you (as I haven't had a chance yet) put posters up by village shops? Carla (hairdressers) I'm sure will display for you free of charge. Last edited: 2013-12-11 14:54:21 by ClaireC

Iv joined on here to find my 2 dogs who have been now missing since 8.30 tuesday night, I walk my dogs in that field now n then, I live on the marroway which I have for about 2yrs no. iv called vets that are in the areas, also dog wardens along with police iv been as far as the chalfonts putting up posters. I know where all the fields around here go and where they go to iv lived in stoke mandeville for about 7yrs before moving to the marroway all I want is my dogs back they both ran together and I also own another husky which also went for a walk that night but she stayed close il be putting posters around, the last siting was on the train tracks in stoke mandeville station and also by the Wendover bypass roundabout the night they went missing. Neo is chipped iv already informed them. But my other dog who is also missing iv not had a chance to get her chipped yet. Im hoping they are still both together as I have 2 puppies at home who miss there mum and dad.

Mollie & Wilf's Mum you are correct. But this Recreation field can be walked to by small public footpath further down Main St by the side of the Thatched roof cottage. From this footpath you will enter the Rec field and slightly on the left is a small gateway that will take you into another field which goes into another and the to the right further is the Golf Course. If you didn't turn left and continued to walk straight from the footpath there is another field behind and this also goes out onto the golf course.
ClaireC
Hi this dog has got lost in the field behind me!. Poster, poster and poster like mad. You don't need me to tell of what is up the road! Aston Clinton Vets Tel No is 01296 630326. Hampden Vets (Elm Farm (open only on Sat morn 9-12)& Aylesbury) 01296 432666 (again open only am on a Sat morn) and also Wendover Vets give out posters to them. Don't forget there are a further 2-3 fields backing onto the Rec field! Lots of dog walkers so put posters up at the entrances. Give a poster into Golf Club as this bounds the area. Dogs are often seen on the golf course.

Do you own both dogs and if so did they both go off together? I or husband walk our Border Collie in these fields daily but I have never seen you! Are you new the village and approx where do you live in WT I am in Middle Field (by shops. My 3 neighbours also walk there very regularly 2-3 times daily and I can ask them to keep an eye out and take some spare leads.

Denise the same person has registered both dogs. Any news on these two ?
denise
What a beautiful boy, so sorry he has gone missing but it seems odd that another dog on dog lost has gone missing in the exact same area and date, worth getting in contact with Bella's owner. Worth notifying the vets at Aston Clinton.
Mollie & Will's Mum
Kaz I don't know WT that well but googling it, seems there is a village hall on a road called School Approach, just off Main Road. Hopefully Sharon will confirm - maybe text her? x
Kaz
What road is the community centre in just to get an idea of which fields as Weston Turville is very small and need to get an idea of direction.
