- Thank you Riverlady.
Mini's owner is obviously still in shock following the terrible events and is grateful for any help in spreading the word and placing posters.
Have given the telephone numbers for local and surrounding dog warden services and kennels.
If anyone has any information please ring in CONFIDENCE.
The police are following up and there may be CCTV footage to examine.
Please keep sharing
Anyone finding a dog, is required by LAW to report to the dog warden services.

- Police are appealing for information after a dog was stolen in a robbery at a house in Birstall.
At around 10.35pm on Friday, 6 December, a man entered the house on Branwell Avenue and demanded that the victim handed over her dogs.
The suspect then threatened the victim with a knife and put her two-year-old French bulldog into a basket. He also took an iPad before running away through the front door.
The suspect is described as white, about 5ft 6ins tall and of medium build. He was wearing a dark blue bomber jacket, dark blue jeans and a blue woolly hat with a white zig-zag design on it.
He was also wearing a face covering which was possibly a balaclava, and white motorbike-style gloves. - 2013-12-07 17:13 Claire Gresty - Area Co-ordinator & Police Liaison - North West
