MAX is back HOME with his very happy owner. It was great to get the news from Sue and REUNITED photo (you may need to refresh the page to view it). Thanks Sue. Many thanks also to everyone who helped look out for him especially for checking the AW's site.

UPDATE from Sue: Hi Max is home safe n sound I've taken pic with my cousin holding him cos uncle is camera shy lol. Max is a bit moody at moment but sure he'll settle soon he was dropped off at 6.15. Thank you for everything. Xx

Thanks a million MAX for cross checking, yes pleased to report the found one you have posted is him. Sue has sent an update. They have got to pay the Warden's fee and MAX will hopefully be home tomorrow, owner and family are over the moon. MAX is MICROCHIPPED and when scanned his details came up. Look forward to getting confirmation he is home and hopefully get a reunited photo. x

There is another listed on AW site today with a photo, ref number 324473, looks very much like him, has same little white bit under mouth on chin.

Sue and family have still not been able to see the found and have had problems getting through to the AW's and have had no replies to emails they have also sent to the AW's. There are no kennels for owners to go and view the found to check if it is Max. Sue will update us a.s.a.p. when they have been able to see the found. x

Thanks Lady Owl greatly appreciated, I alerted Sue to it earlier and sent her the photo.

Family have been in touch over the found and AW’s are calling back tomorrow, no one was in the pound for them to go and see if it was max. Fingers crossed, fingers crossed x

Sue has showed Max’s owner the photo but his eyesight is not too good, Sue and another family member thought it looked like him. They are ringing back after 3pm. The AW’s said the found had no collar on n cant find chip when scanned.

Sue will update a.s.a.p. tomorrow.

Fingers crossed it is Max and we see him home soon. x

Thanks millypod, the details were not on there when I checked earlier. That will be him. Sue said he was being looked after when he went missing and another family member contacted the AW's to register him. Sue has not had any luck getting in touch with the AW's tonight and has emailed them. Does look hopeful he has been picked up. x

Hopefully Sue can get photo/s tomorrow to add to his DL details. x

Have had the reply below from Sue and have sent her the details on the AW of the found which could be Max, Sue does say they have contacted the Wardens but I cannot see his missing details on their site:

Sadly no nothing family been out looking but nothing:( We've put it a few sites n rang warden he is chipped so fingers crossed my uncle will get him back safely. Thanks x

Thanks millypod for checking the AW's site, that deffo looks like it is Max, I cannot see him on the AW site registered as missing. Will try and contact owner for an update and see if he has been found. x
