- I was walking to work this morning and unfortunately saw a cat that looked very similar to Mixy. I moved her out of the way but had to go and catch my bus for work. I work at a vets, and this poster came through. Unfortunately, I think it is the cat I show this morning in Accrington. I have called the owner and she is going to have a look to see if it is Mixy. I did not have a microchip scanner on me or suitable material to bring the cat to work with me.

- Sorry to see Mixy is still missing. she is neutered, so shouldn`t be too far away. Someone local may be feeding her. A neighbour`s cat was missing for a week or so, he was then "Found" only a few doors away being fed by someone else. Put something with her scent on, say a blanket, and if dry leave in the garden; put your scent on too. Cats rely very much on scent, and I believe that a cats sense of smell is even stronger than a dogs. She may be nearer than you think as spayed females only have a territory of about two garden spaces. (I have rwo) Also keep tapping her food dish, say with some tuna on, so she gets a whiff (Hopefully) I call it the "Food trick" Good luck
