- Been out straight from work and not long come online.
Well what can I say but ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC NEWS.
Was chuffed to bit to get the call while in work from Gaynor to say they had just got her back, thanks so much for the call greatly appreciated. Was doing a HAPPY DANCE in the office and had the greatest of pleasure in letting work colleagues know, some who live in the area had been looking for her and were helping with the postering.
Everyone has been truly AMAZING. Gaynor, Graham and their family have done an outstanding job and they got a brilliant result. Such a lovely family to work with . They have had their ups and downs since Ruby went missing and the community support has been outstanding.
WELL DONE and THANKS a MILLION to the gardeners you have made a lot of people very very happy and one little four legged pooch who will be spoilt rotten. Everyone can have a well earned rest now and enjoy their Christmas back together as one big happy family. RUBY will most probably sleep for England and be a bit clingy for a while.
Many many thanks to each and everyone of you who gave up your time to help in the searches and to those who made calls with the sightings.
Ruby has proved once again how hardy dogs can be when on the loose in fowl weather. She is one brave little girl.

Look forward to meeting the gorgeous RUBY hopefully with WINSTON our own Pug. This breed have such characters and are fun to have around.
WELCOME HOME RUBY sending you a big hug and lots of cuddles. XXX

- Not long got back from having another drive around the area and dropped some posters off to owners who had not long returned home from looking for her. They have been out since early with the help of lots of relatives/friends and people in the community. The Crem is only 1.5 miles from owners home and where Ruby went missing from she could well make her way back when it is quiet and dog very often turn up back home early hours. The word is spreading and posters have brought sightings in on the day she went missing. Rooting for her to be back home soon. x

- Thanks Lmoore for posting on Ruby's page. The cemetery has lots of places for a dog to get through even the gates which are not always closed are big and she can get through. Using food, sitting off in their cars has been discussed with family, also leaving items of clothing and using a portable BBQ. There is lots of undergrowth as well for her to run off into and hide. x
- 2013-12-15 21:58 lmoore - Area Volunteer, Wiltshire
- If Ruby is in the cemetery grounds is this a secure area. Could you shut gates maybe and make them dog proof then at least she is contained. Also can you drive a car in there and park it up maybe leave a door open. If she is used to your car then she may associate that with home more than actually seeing a person. Put some smelly grub in there, fish or sardines and step away and wait. Bonnie a missing Schnauzer was caught a couple of days ago by using the family car and she just jumped in after days of hand feeding her but not being able to catch her. Worth a try. Good Luck .Hope she is home soon.

- Anyone who is able to go out looking for her please be aware she is very frightened and will be nervous of other dogs as well. Went through with family today on how to behave if they see her and to leave an item of her bedding/clothing in the area where she was sighted. The gentle approach is so important and Ruby needs time to realise who it is once she does she will most probably be all over them. Scenting advice has been emailed to owners which also explains in more details of how to behave if they see her. Rooting for Ruby to be home soon. x

- Not long got back from helping search in Allerton Cemetery/Crematory/Clarkes Gardens. Seen posters on the bus stops and trees while driving from Woolton to the area which is fab.
Met up with the family and they got another call re a sighting in the Crematory area approx 20mins earlier at around 3.00pm. A volunteer security guy who patrols the Crem seen her and she started approaching him, he clicked his fingers and she ran off scared. The guy has two pugs himself .
Walked around Clarke’s Gardens with my BC and Pug speaking to dog walkers a lot were already aware of her as they had seen posters. Asked them to take pics of a poster to have contact numbers to hand if they sight her. Some did take details from the poster pic I had on my phone.
Passed a poster to the Pub In The Park which is in Clarke’s Garden’s right next to the Crem and Ruby could be drawn to with the smell of the restaurant food. Also passed a poster to McDonald’s which is not too far away and lots of people visit there.
Gone through a few more things with family and I will do various size posters as need smaller ones to hand out a.s.a.p.
Walked around until it got really dark and spoke to the guy in the Crematory who had seen her. Explained what to do if he sees her again and great he is on the look out especially as he is there when it is quiet.
I sat off in the road which runs right through the Cemetery/Crematory and Clarke’s Gardens in case she cross it when it got quiet and drove around the perimeter road a couple of times before leaving just before 1900hrs.
There are lots of undergrowth for Ruby to hide up and if she stays there is a safe area.
Thank you to the people who rang in with the sightings and to everyone for sharing and looking out for her. Rooting for her to be back home soon. x
